Congratulations and welcome to Club Lexus. What model do you have ES350 or ES300h?

Default Es300h - 2013

Proud owner of my 1st Lexus ES300h. Got it Lexus certified with Premium package. It comes with additional 3 yrs/ 100000 miles bumper to bumper warranty. Still need to figure out what mileage I am going to get. Per catalog it should be 40 mpg (combined). What feedback you people have on mileage?

Congratulations and welcome to Club Lexus! I have had my ES300h for a little over 2 years and over that entire time my average is 36 mpg. I get 37 to 38 in the summer and 34 to 35 in the winter. I track my actual calculated mileage on the http://www.fuelly.com/car/ web site. The car's mpg readout is always 1 to 2 mpg higher than actual calculated mileage.

I just purchased my second Lexus. Previous was a 2008 IS 250. Jus took delivery of a 2015 ES 350 Crafted Line.

Congratulations GP on your new Lexus. Enjoy! I have a 2013 300H, now with 30K miles on it and do live in Florida. Over the past 9 months I have averaged 42.6 mpg driving in FL and up north in both local and highway driving. I drive in normal mode and not Eco and do try and get up to speed fairly quickly rather than very gradual acceleration. .

I got an avg of 36 mpg on this 300h after first tank refill. Is is something I should expect or can get more. I see someone in Florida getting 42 mpg. I drove in Eco mode on street road and in Normal mode when on traffic filled freeways here in Los Angeles.

Am I doing the right thing? Question is when to choose Eco mode and when Normal and how much it effects the overall mileage at the end of day.

There is at least one thread here on the ES300h and fuel economy, this conversation should be continued there for best results.

Default 2013 es350

I just bought my wife a 2013 ES350 last weekend with only 14k miles on it. She has always wanted a Lexus IS250 but she ended up liking the ES350's more than the IS250. I was really impressed with the quality of the interior. It was as nice as the 2010 Mercedes Benz E350 that we drove.

I'm a truck guy and have a 2014 Tacoma so I won't be driving it too much but it will be a comfortable change when I do. Much better on gas mileage too.
