if Europeans can buy FWD Audi's, they can buy FWD Lexus... They are certainly buying CT200h.

Re: The ES spy shots from China..... Where are the chrome door handles?? I think that is one of the positive things that the current ES model has going for it! Does anybody else agree?....

I think AWD will be pretty cool but probably won't sell that good.

Lexus has been removing chrome on their new cars. The new RX doesn't have chrome door handled either when the old one did. Also it seems to have lost the chrome strip on the bottom under the door sills too just like the new GS

I like the chrome applications of the past but it's not imperative

I beg to differ. Here in the NE, what do I see? 4matic and xdrive. Rarely do I see a RWD GS or IS.

Where do you think Lexus, or most luxury high end car companies sell the most cars? In states with sunny dry weather. California is #1 for Lexus sales.

In snowy states, people tend to spend less on cars, they got winter beater.

People in sunny dry states drive our highend car everyday, all year long

CA itself is also the size of the entire NE and part of the midwest region though

LFA is a Japanese supercar, and it's how a Japanese supercar should look like. I know you like Japanese to copy European and you say "OMG Lexus copies Lambo", right?

I happen to agree with him though. The LFA is relatively tame next to other cars at this price point. But that seems to be consistent with the Lexus philosophy.

Then again, most supercars, even the Veyron, will become wallflowers when parked alongside an Aventador.

LFA.... bland? lolwut. I love how Lexus went with a low, wedge shape that is UNIQUE to them in terms of supercar body styles, it just screams "I am fast". As sweet and sexy as the new NSX and Emerg-E are, their body styles have been seen before.

Everybody has there opinion on what an exotic is to them so there isn't a written list on what describes an exotic or super-car. IMHO the LFA is a great representation of a Japanese "exotic" or "super-car". Don't forget that Lexus isn't really known for having crazy styled cars, the company has basically been known for it's "blandness" is what i'm trying to say I guess. It doesn't have over the top body lines and "lambo doors" and all that good stuff, but rather it is just a showing of what the company is capable of and predict what the company is going towards in it's future. Like I said not everyone will agree with another persons opinions.

No joke! I've seen many expensive luxury and sports cars with lots of miles on them for sale in CA

As long as the ES is Camry based and sales are strong we probably won't see AWD on the ES. If Camry started offering AWD (doubtful anytime soon) things might be different.
