07 ES mpg good or bad???
I have NEVER gotten over 22mpg combined hwy/city. I drive 50mls a day 80% hwy, avg of 65mph on hwy. Owned the car for two months now. Replaced 2 ignition coils (4,5). Nothing else seems out of wack but its my first lexus so I dont know how its supposed to feel or respond to my driving. Any thoughts?

Could be anything really. You're not really giving us much to work with.
It could be your driving style, winter blend, a stuck caliper, suspension issues, wheel bearing, terrible alignment, wrong tire sizes or pressure, etc.
Also, you might want to try to manually calculate your mpg based on fuel consumption. The stock estimation isn't very accurate. You could also try resetting your tank avg when you refuel but again it is not the most accurate.

That's pretty low. I go 24-26 mpg, mountain roads and clogged city.
You should check what is wrong with it, driving style or something else. How many miles? It could be a bad O2 sensor, even a vacuum leak could drop your mpg.

Definitely too low mpg. In town I average 24 and highway 29-30. First thing I would check would be the spark plugs. While the back 3 are a pain, you could easily pull one or two of the front ones. While normally they shouldn't need changing until 120,000 miles, some people feel they need to be changed at 60,000. I'd first look to see if they are fouled. But most importantly, I would check to make sure they are iridium and the right plugs. They must be iridium. Anyone who says they don't have to be and can be more traditional platinum, doesn't know what they are speaking of. I've had a few newer toyotas, which is what a Lexus is, and when I tried using platinum instead of the recommended iridium. Performance went to hell. The worst part is if you look it up online at an autozone store or site or similar advanced auto or Orielly, they all show a platinum plug as an alternative plug. I'll say it again. You can't use platinum. Only use iridium. Preferable ngk or Bosch.
If not the plugs, it could be O2 sensor, fuel injectors, or a number of other issues. But combined fuel mileage should be around 26mpg.
