I am looking to DIY this asap. Are there step by step instructions that anyone has out there?

P0354 means that it's the #4 coil. It is the middle one at the front of the engine, so it is easy to access.

1) lift off the silver engine cover
2) disconnect the wiring harness at the coil (squeeze and pull off)
3) use a 10mm socket to remove the bolt securing the old coil
4) pull out the old coil, insert the new coil
5) reverse

Also, planning to do this today. Has anyone ever used after market coils. They're $123 a piece at my local auto store. Toyota sells them for $80 on Amazon. Then I just found another manufacturer selling a pack of 6 for $90 on Amazon. I'd normally use after market parts in my other cars, but this is my first Lexus, so I'm not sure what to do. Any advice?

It takes a lot of work to access the rear ignition coils. I would change those with OEM parts, just for peace of mind. If I had to change the rear coils, I would also change the spark plugs at the same time.

The rear ones are hard ***. It took me over 90 minutes. I had to remove intake manifold.

a little work, but very do-able for a casual mechanic. There are other videos without obnoxious music.

Last year got error P0351 for one rear coil, so got the garage to replace all 3 rear coils & all new plugs, and new gaskets.
