I have ES 350 with 118000 miles. And for the last 6 months I've noticed my car become louder and louder. And now it's beginning to shake and vibrate a little. The Check engine light and check VSC light came on then it went off. I can also tell it doesn't have the same pick up when I hit the gas. So is it time to for new plugs and coils? Please help

You need to check the codes (Autozone nearby?) The codes should still be stored in history.

The codes will reveal a lot and will save you time trying to guess what is wrong (or replacing the wrong parts). If you still need help, post the codes.

Are they original plugs? If yes then 118000 is just too much.

The maintenance schedule recommends spark plug replacement at 120,000 miles...

Made me chuckle! I can easily recall doing my own tune-ups every 15,000 miles with new plugs and points and setting the timing. My 2010 has about 50,000 miles and has not had one issue - oil changes only. Truly a masterpiece of modern engineering.

My car did the same thing at 90,000 miles. I had my codes pulled at Jiffy Lube. For me, it's a new coil and plug and cylinder 2.
