Blown Ballast or electrical issue?
Guys,
I installed a new ballast and bulb for an 07 ES350. Light, on drivers side, still flickered until I installed the ground screw. This is the screw behind the drivers side quarter panel and it is the only screw on the side of the headlight assembly. Once I inserted this screw, light functioned properly for about 10 minutes. Then it went out and light doesn't come on at all. Could I have ruined or blown the ballast? Is there a relay switch for the drivers side HID light? The fuse is still good. I have tried switching bulbs and light still doesn't work. Also, there isn't any humming from the ballast at all. Could this be an electrical problem or did I just get a 'bad' ballast from ebay?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So when you switched bulbs did the bulb that wasnt working work on the other side? Did you wear gloves/cover your hands when touching the bulbs? The quality of ebay kits are quite dubious. A friend of mine worked at a hid kit company and you should've seen all the returns he processed.

Im assuming you put an aftermarket hid kit into a halogen housing. If the fuse is still okay you could try checking over all the connects if you already haven't. I put an aftermarket HID kit into my car and it's working fine. I got mine from HIDmasters and didn't have to run any extra wiring, just plug n play into the factory halogen harness with a ballast.
