The Michelin Xi2's on the ES350 were at 1/2 thread. I was wanting the Goodyear WRT's ....I'm very happy with their deep snow performance on my van.... but not available. Decision time: Michelin's new Xi3's or the new Blizzak WS80's. I decided to go with the WS80's. I find the X-ice series are not the best in deep snow grabbing (I've worn out 2 sets). Driving home from the tire store in a MN snowy/icing afternoon they stuck to the road like Velcro and climbed up the sloped driveway like a champ.
Of course, You cannot go wrong with any brand of snow tire in a snow storm.
