I have a 2008 es350 and I cannot search for a destination using the phone no. I can only input 9 numbers. It won't let me input the 10th. I don't use a cell phone so my bluetooth is not enabled. Would that be my problem?

That's just the way the system works - it's not 100%. It means that the Nav system can't find an address associated with that particular number, so it just stops when it can't find any numbers in that range....or the business uses a cell phone (more and more common nowadays). Cell phones are rarely associated with a street address.

I've had that happen with some places, especially with newer business. It generally will not work with private addresses, though strangely enough, some do.... I've had about a 75% success rate with the ones I've tried...
Since it's so easy, I always give the Phone number a try first, and if that doesn't work, I just input the address normally.

Try it with a business that's been around for a while, or even a Library or museum or something similar. It does work, but not for every address..

am i missing something was this an option in the 07 ES350 with navi ? to be able to look up an address inputing the phone number ?
