Rear seat replace vs repair vs leave alone?
Hi guys, I just bought a 2007 Lexus ES350 and am very happy with it but as I noticed later, the rear seat bottom had a spot where glue or something similar was spilled onto the perforated leather and that section now looks pretty bad. I have been given quotes to replace that section with Toyota or Honda leather that will look exactly the same ($400), replace with some other leather that will "look great" ($220), replace it with leather and dye it to match ($140) or I can get a replacement on car-part.com for about $160 shipped to me (my concern is I don't know what it means when they say clean or A grade, LA25 is also confusing to me). Can you please advise? Thank you in advance!

If it was me I would just get the same color die and color it to fade it in. Cheap method and barely noticeable. Why would u spend so much money on cosmetics? How many time will u sit in the rear seat? Honestly it doesn't look that bad.
No matter what you do in a used car, it will never be perfect!

I think you hit the nail on the head, agree with you, used car in a process of decay (wear and tear) so makes no sense to do anything with it. It's not functional at all. Thanks!
