For anyone with access to a Canadian Tire store the Scosche Dual USB is on sale for $15.99. I included a link to the sale price.

Duct Work
I was just about to attempt this yesterday but noticed how the duct work was attached to that panel that comes off. Seems like if I drill a hole on that panel that the duct work is about an inch and a half away making very little room for the usb socket?

I like the Scosche one. It's super micro-sized and provides both ports with full 2.4A charging amps simultaneously.
Before drilling, remove the vent duct. It is attached by clips.

One more question
When you soldered the wires to the adapter did you gave to solder the spring with the wire for that center pin that pushes in or just the wire itself? the spring is attached to the circuit board so im not sure? Thanks

I cut, stripped, added heatshrink tubing, and then soldered to the wire itself (not the spring). I discarded all the metal spring/tips and wings.
You should probably do the positive tip wire first, and then the negative wires, just so that there is no mixup.
After testing to make sure that it works (I used a 12 volt wall adapter that I had lying around), I snaked the wire out the tip and then glued the case back together.
However. you might want to snake the soldered wires out the side, if possible. That will give you more clearance when you install the charger to the back panel.
