08 ES 350 navigation removal
Hello everyone,
I just bought my first Lexus yesterday. I want to replace the navigation system with an aftermarket Kenwood double din with navigation, bluetooth, usb, backup camera, etc. I know my screen controls the AC, but I was wondering if I bought this
http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-09-LEXUS-ES350-CLIMATE-CONTROL-TEMPERATURE-UNIT-OEM-HVAC-HEAT-55900-33C10-/271009891872?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2008%7CMake%3ALexus%7CModel%3AES350&hash=item3f1972c620&vxp=mtr
If I could make it work? I have the mark levinson audio, but I would really like to get rid of the factory LCD/Navi unit.
Thanks.

You will have to make sure your the plugs on the back for the AC are the same as yours. Once you do that, it's easy to use that along with an aftermarket mounting kit to install an aftermarket head unit.
I installed a Pioneer. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...-a-2007-a.html

I beg to differ, simply changing the door speakers with good one will change the sound quality, i've done that on my car the soiund is deeper.
I advice is not the mess with the original wiring since everything is connected: the nav, radio, controls. I simply integrated the bypass module, change the speakers and add an aftermarket amp and sub. The sound quality has improved quite a bit. My only regret is not adding a second amplifier for a front stage speakers and tweeters. I have the ML audio.
