Default Wipers will not retract
Well hell. All of a sudden my windshield wipers will not retract after they are turned off.
Any ideas?

2007 ES350. with the auto rain sensor

what does that mean wont retract? they wont go all the way into the well below the windshield? Maybe you have them in winter mode and need to push/force the arm down into its summer/no ice setting

Matter of fact, you must put them in winter mode when you want to replace the wipers or you can't lift the passenger side wiper up.

Default It worked!
I bow to the lords of the forum. I pushed on both wipers and they went to their resting position.

Yeah; it's definitely weird the first time doing it... almost like it's going to break something, then KLUNK... into position..
