Question Aftermarket stainless mesh grilles...recomendations/suggestions?

Thinking of switching out the stock grille to something like this, anyone have any suggestions or recommendations on products they've used, I see E&G Classic Grilles keeps coming up on searches, anyone have experience with them?

Thanks guys!

I have the E&G on mine and I love it. I like the chrome mesh look and it makes it look a little unique compared to the standard ES. It's not very common in my area which is a good thing as well.

Here's a pic of my grill, it's just a horizontal insert off ebay for $150 bolts right onto the factory grill.

Here's a pic of the e&g grill installed on a es, I like the look of it better than my grill. I wish they made a bottom insert for our year.

That last picture didn't come through SICK but I agree, I like it better too...only problem is you have to cut and drill a bit so the OEM grille won't go back in it's place.

That's true and mine you can take off and it's right back to OEM. No cutting or drilling required.

With the E&G you dont have to cut anything. If you go this route you will need to drill through the surround though.

The E&G grill doesnt fit perfectly into the tabs of the grill surround. Youll have to dremel out the E&G surround that attaches to the mesh. Also, youll have to find a way to attach the top of the grill if you dont cut. I used some screws through the top mounting plate through the surround to hold it.

This is the only picture i have of it on my car. car was traded in for an IS350 so all my aftermarket parts are for sale in this thread

Thanks SICK350! I modded everything I could on that car that was available and made for the ES sans the exhaust and ugly body kit from Wings West. I just felt like it wasn't enough... there just isn't enough of an aftermarket scene for the ES. So im currently working on a very show car worthy IS350 build with all jdm parts.
Also, the oil pan is also SUPER low on these cars. I only got stuck once, and probably scraped badly 3 other times but my oil pan was busted up to hell when I traded it in.

Anyways, back onto subject! I found a picture of an ES350 w/ E&G grill to show you what im talking about from member CQRT.
This gap is what im talking about and it is on BOTH sides. Refer to my last post for the solution.

There is absolutely no gap there - - it's a reflection in the photo - - the fit is perfect . . I wouldn't have put it on if it was like that. Gime a break !

Did you replace the grill? I did mine and it was easy and looks great.

^why does your car have both the oem and an aftermarket grill stacked on top of each other?

Ive never even seen that brand before. As long as I can remember there has only been the t-rex and e&g grills available for the ES.

Default Stacked aftermarket

I did not know of any other option out there and found these. They actually look pretty good, at least better than the original plastic. If you have a link to the complete replacement ones I'd be willing to take a look. Thanks

I have the same grill, but I don't like that I can see the original grill underneath the aftermarket grill.
I'm thinking of having the original grill painted black so that it may not be as noticeable. However, if anyone is aware of a complete replacement mesh grill that looks similar, I'd appreciate knowing about it.

Oddly enough, today I saw a similar mesh grill on a 2011 that completely replaced the OEM plastic grill. It looked great. I asked the guy where he bought it, he told me it was on the car when he purchased it from the dealer. I wasn't aware there was any other OEM grill available other than the plastic one that I see on every other 2011 ES.
