Default Any Recommended Tranmission diagnostic's near Fullerton Cali?

Hi Guys,
New to this site but have already used a number of posts here in helping me with my maintenance. I am having a small shifting problem with my 2007 E350 and want to take it in to a decent shop for to check and possibly change the transmission fluid and filter. Has 76K on it.

Can anyone speak for a great shop in this area, or is this frowned upon in the forums? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Areas of Fullerton, Brea, Yorba Linda, La Hambra all near.

Before taking it in, I would suggest you to read about shift flare and overall transmission behavior on ES. There certainly were some bad units but for most part this is how it is programmed to shift, the shift flare is most noticeable when oil is cold...

Thank you for the reply. I have read up on the shift flair, have taken it in and it has been re-flashed, but it seems to be shifting "harder' and at times is slipping. There are no codes, just a feeling that it isn't right...it never used to do this. The other flag is that the overall gas mileage has gone down, and this after replacing two air/fuel sensors, two O2 sensors, and two Oil control valve solenoids due to other issues with codes. No other codes or pending codes. Checking brakes for bad caliper this weekend. The fact that it isn't shifting as smooth, and seems to be slipping, is why I am concentrating on the tranny.

So, with over 75 views of this post, and all the members in Socal, no one knows of a decent transmission shop in my area? Any help would be welcome.

Mike at LEX Mastertech, formerly known as LTS Mastertech they're in pasadena.

Ive been lucky enough not to have anything catastrophic happen to my car enough to go see him, but he was well recommended on the forum.
Former longo/valencia mastertech who went independent.

The assumption that there are many lexus owners in the area and some members have viewed your post does not necessarily mean that they are:
1) Active on this forum
2) That the 75 viewers were even from the area/this side of the country.

Also, there just are not that many veterans of this sub-forum that still post/lurk regularly.

Try the So Cal regional forum. You might get responses there.
