Default ES350 Hood Shocks

1st let me start off by saying I am new to this site.

Secondly, I changed the oil in my car (ES350) and noticed the shocks had gone out in the hood. Darn thing just wouldn't stay up. Went to Lexus and it will cost $330 to replace. So I am trying to purchase the hood shocks at Sewellparts.com to change the bad hood shocks. I read somewhere on the web that if I register I could use a code or something to get a discount. I have registered but still don't have a discount code. Anyone familiar with this?

Default Hood shocks

Thanks....Just checked and the price went down for me as well to $79. In the near future I will try to install these. I am hoping that its a simple process.

Guess when I tried to log onto Sewell on my first day with this site it didn't register my discount.

Thanks again!!!

Those gas struts are probably made by someone like KYB or Tokico. You shouldn't have much trouble finding them aftermarket but still the OEM part for a bunch less money. See if there is a part number on the side of the thing and a manufacturer. Then do a web search to see what you can find.
