Wondering if anyone knows of a legitimate source that sells OEM nav discs for GEN 5 lexus/toyota. I have to assume that once they come out with the newest; e.g. U38 13.1, that there would be plenty of earlier versions such as 12.1 or 11.1 that toyota/lexus would want to sell. Obviously there are those on ebay, but it's hard to tell who truly is selling an OEM and who is selling bootlegs.

Most people don't need to spend $169 every year. Most roads don't update that often. But while I find it ridiculous that toyota/lexus would charge so much for a NAV upgrade disc, I find it even more silly that they aren't selling surplus 12.1 or 11.1 for half price. Toyota, especially lexus, has a very proud clientele. They would make so much more money providing yearly updates at $25 instead of $169. At $25, EVERY owner would buy an upgrade disc every year. Instead, they are lucky if they get 10% of all owners upgrading their nav each year.

Anyway; if anyone knows of a legitimate source for surplus or leftover 12.1 - 10.1 at a decent price, that would be cool.
