Nav 13.1 dvd $49.99
I continue to see that the newest NAV DVD is about $169. Yet, I've found 2 sites that shows them "On Sale" for $49.99. I'm not talking ebay. And the disks, from the pics, look OEM. (U38). Can you all review these 2 sites and tell me if you see something wrong. Thanks....

Not being ungrateful, but you really haven't contributed anything here. I originally asked if anyone could look at the 2 web sites and see if they see anything suspicious or skeptical. Did you happen to look at the 2 links? I started the thread because this is not an item for sale on Ebay. I was wondering if anyone had any experience.
And it doesn't matter what Sewell's price is. They are not automatically the least expensive provider of all things lexus. They just happen to be a reliable retailer with a proven track record. That doesn't mean they don't have the same high markups like many other vendors. E.g.Sewell's charges $17.10 each for original Lexus spark plugs for an ES 350. Now, if you really believe that Lexus actually makes spark plugs, and they are better, then pay the $17 each for them. Chances are, because a large amount of parts are made by Denso; the spark plugs are probably Denso. And at $8.49 each, that's right at 50%. Or better yet, buy NGK at $7.00 each. They, in my opinion, are the best iridium plugs.
And for what it's worth, even on Sewell's own website, they state:
"For our way of doing business to work, we have to convince you there is something more valuable than money. After all, we're not the cheapest, so to be successful we must offer you something else. That something else is convenience. We remove the hassles. We try to make your life easier."
Guess what I'm trying to say is: Just because Sewell charges $169 for a map upgrade disk, doesn't mean that anyone else who sells it for less MUST be an inferior product. Sewell definitely isn't the standard by which lexus part prices are measured.
