Default sat radio

Just purchased a 2007 ES350, has Nav. no Sat radio. Has a button on the radio system that is printed with AM/SAT. They must have used the same button, regardless if it had Sat. Anything I can do to add Sat to the system with out adding external Sat radio, would like it to be part of the system that is already in place. I would assume that the harness system is wired for the Sat radio.

Thanks to all for any ideas.

You have to go with an external satelite radio. The cars that have the AM/SAT button are "Satelite radio ready" which means they have the port on the back of the radio to plug in an external satelite turner without having to cut into the wiring harness to install one.

Default sat radio

Thanks for the reply. If I'm able to locate the sat/nav system from a salvage/junk yard, will it be just a plug in with the wire harness?
Thanks again for the reply.

I don't know exactly what you mean? Your car already has navigation correct? So all you need is a cheap satellite radio receiver and antenna setup. That is what plugs into the back of the radio to give you satellite radio. You through me off when you asked about a Sat/Nav system.
