there are many sections on the parking assist sensor repair, here is a general rear sensor one. if you had a dtc code i could give you the more precise info.

also a gen sys description in 18 pdf

Alright I think I've isolated the issue... I noticed on the middle sensor, the harness that plugs into it has been chewed up and exposed so that they were just barely touching each other.

So is the harness worth repairing? Can it be repaired? Also to remove the sensors from the bumper cover, do they just pop out? Any special considerations?

I'm glad it worked, I locked my keys in my trunk of my 02 ES300 and there was a sub box in the way. While trying to fish my keys around the sub box I noticed it, gave it a pull and thanked god lol. Then I slapped a L.E.D. on that puppy and called it a day. JK!

Good job! Hope you get the sonar issue worked out.

there was a recall for the glow in the dark trunk release, i got mine changed around 3 months ago, go get it fixed for free...
