Selling - Best place to advertise?
I'm finally getting around to selling my 2007 ES 350, I pick my newer one up this next week.
What's your opinion on best place to advertize these days? Autotrader, cars.com, CarSoup, Craiglist?
I have sold 2 cars on craiglist, but they were much lower price and very different.
Curious where others have had the most success.

Yeah, don't gt me wrong, I love Craiglist, but I feel like the spambots are posting 100's of cars a day, many the same ones over and over. I just wasn't sure is CL was the right place for a $20,000 car.
Having said that, I did post an ad, I have 7 replies, all people trying to scam me be sending me a cashiers check and having an "associate" pick up the car. One of them asked only two questions: where is the car? and is is outside at night. No other questions. Good grief.

I used CL to sell an old 1997 Toyota Tacoma pickup a couple of months ago. On the first day, I had EIGHT phone calls. I sold it to the first person who came by to look at it. I got my full asking price too. OTOH, it was cheap, only $6200. Plus, old Tacomas are real popular out here. Not sure how an expensive luxury car will do, but it's worth a try.

+1 for Craigslist. Sold my 2002 Tacoma last september for full asking price to the second person I spoke to.
The way I get around the spam on CL, for anything I sell, is to ask the potential buyer to email me a phone number where I can call them at. I also state in the add that all emails will be ignored. If someone replies to the email chances are they are a spammer or a tire kicker; neither of which I have time for.
Either way, good luck!

Yeah 1sWt2GS, good point! Thanks! I don't even know why I didn't think of that.
I'll look to see if there is a more appropriate forum, I've never really ventured out of this category too much.
Having said, that, 2007 ES 350, nav, heated, ventilated seats, gold with tan, 58,000 miles, for sales, $19,900. It's in Minneapolis, so come get it people...
