I noticed a bit of funky smell coming from the vents when I first turn on the AC and after turning off the AC. So I am trying to locate the air conditioner evaporator drain hose and make sure it's not plugged.

The search yielded no results for the ES350...

Hmm. I am surprised that no one has been able to identify the AC evap drain hose for the Lexus ES350.

I managed to find many posts for the IS250/350 and GS models, but nothing here...

All I know is I see a puddle towards the middle of the car, passenger side - close to the firewall. I've not ever taken the time to see where it's at, that's just where the evap puddle is after driving with the AC on.

When looking under the car, you can spot it pretty easily.
It's a black rubbery short tube with a slight curve.
It protrudes down about 1.5 inches below everything else.

In regards to whether there is a clog, if you are getting water under the car when you run the A/c, then it's not clogged.

In regards to the smell, these cars are prone to that after a while.
The evaporator is cold from running the a/c and moisture forms.
It's dark in there and after a while, you get some mold/bacterial build up.
Eventually, you start to get a smell like "dirty socks".

A few things you can do to help prevent it somewhat......
1) Turn the a/c off slightly before you get where you're going and crank up the fan. It will help evaporate away some of the moisture.

2) If it gets really bad, you can buy a TOYOTA A/C CLEANING KIT to help clean it. It's a two part kit.
1st can you shoot up into that little drain hose from under the car, It foams up inside and disinfects/cleans away the odor causing bacteria.
2nd can is an aerosol you spray into the air intake at the base of the windshield from above the car.

The kit costs around $20.

I know this is old thread, but I had the condensate drain issue on my 2007 ES 350. The hardest part was finding the drain hose. I could not find a picture until I searched for the same issue with a 2007 Camry. However, it is easy to find. As NJ mentioned it is a little nub of a tube that sticks out. It is located just to the passenger side of the catalytic convertor, just to the rear of the firewall. There is much documentation and links for the IS and GS. The ES is nothing like it. It is in the same area (front to back), but it isn't hidden, it is right out in the open (thank goodness) The problem with mine was that the drain tube had been pulled inside of the cab. Just the rubber grommet remained. I did not realize the tube was missing. I put the air compressor to the hole in the grommet and heard the noise of the air in the front of the center console - pulled back the carpet and the carpet making up the side of the console and there was the drain hose draining right into the cab. Pushed it back into its hole and all is good. Now just drying out the carpet...
