Problem updating new Nav DVD
I bought a new navigation DVD from Ebay, version 11.1, and I'm getting an error after I installed it. The new maps seem to be fine, but it won't let me enter a destination address or select a POI, etc. The error says:
"No data available for selected search area".
My car is a 2007 ES350 and the disc seems to be a legit original DVD. I looked up the part numbers and they seem to be correct. It says U36 and has a part number 86271-53026, version 11.1 and has the pink dots on it.
I sent a message to the seller and he asked if I tried "resetting the settings on the navigation?" I don't know what he means or if that applies to a Lexus. He sells a lot of Nav DVDs and has 100% pos feedback.
I did try disconnecting the battery and reloading the DVD, but it didn't help.
Any ideas?
