the dealer only gave us one key- told us to buy another for 400 dollars.
Any suggestions? Also; if the battery dies on the fob...how do you start the car? where would the blade key go? Love the car, my first experience with keyless start.

Interesting and very helpful videos. I knew about how to get in and start the car but never saw it in action.

And the guy in the second video is the first guy we talked to about a Lexus. He's also the reason we drove an additional 3 hours to Nashville to buy one.

I also bought a 2007 es and it had only one key. The used car dealar arranged for a local lock smith to make a key for $200 and he included a leather case..

I too have a 2007 and my key fob was completely dead the other day and had to follow above instructions before buying a new battery! Here's more info for those who are interested in why car still starts even though key fob is completely dead!
