2011 headlight accent light
Hello forum members, for the 2011/12 model years on the headlight we have a accent light see the attached photo. Does anyone know if this is a separate bulb or is it just using the HID headlight bulb?
I thinking of getting 6k HID's and thought that I might replace this bulb as well if it is separate.
Let me know what you folks have found.

Can't really tell by the part diagram, but looks like it should be separate from the HID low beam entirely. I cannot find a separate part in the diagram for it. Is it bright white when illuminated or yellowish like a halogen?
If it's yellowish, it may be taking light from the parking lamp above the turn signal, which is replaceable. If bright white, I have a feeling it's LED and integral to the housing, which means it can't be replaced.

If it is a yellow parking type light, www.hoenusa.com has yellow light bulbs with a mirror type finish to them but they will still blink yellow. Takes out the "egg yolk" color bulb.

That's the "parking" light which is an LED. It appears to be part of the headlight "unit". If it dies the Owner's Manual states to see a dealer. When the HID headlamp is lit there is a reflection or glow from that weird, textured reflector under the HID headlight (inboard of the parking light).

Thanks all, yes it does look like it is either being emitted as part of the HID lights being directed through the headlight bezel or a dedicated LED light. I tried to look in the engine compartment but I could not decipher a secondary bulb connection. I'll check with the dealer and see what they say and let you all know what I find.
