A cheap work around when you are desperate for light is to pull down your vanity mirror, the light on it is much more substantial.

I know, very pathetic, but hey, it works.

I read that wrong yesterday lol, I actually swaped the back lights out with white LEDs and there not much brighter than the factory ones, there a very poor design, they dont let much light out at all.

Can you remove the piece in front of the VFD (clock)? If you can, does it emit primarily green? You could put a blue tint overlay underneath that plastic piece to modify the color slightly. I've also read that some are white by nature and just have a filter over them - but the green ones are supposedly the longer lasting color.

There is a dark green tinted piece in front of the clock that can't be removed, the clock actually is a whiteish blue color but the filter it passes thru makes it the green color.

You have the best 350 I've seen are you going to put a speaker system in for extra bass?

I'm starting to slowly get my interior back together, here's another shot of the lights and the head unit. the camera makes the lights look brighter than they actually are.
