Default es350 auction prices?

Been looking around and for the most part 06 is250, 06 gs300 and 07 es350 are close in price but given I have a es300 and its been great to me I want another es. How much are auction prices? Pp they range from 13-22k depending on mileage and title..

In my experience the auction prices are usually between 35 to 50% lower than the retail price.

I'd expect an ES to go much lower than an IS or a GS. They're just more in demand than the ES. However, if we're talking the same money, I'd rather get the GS all things being equal.

So if that's the case then price range should be 10-15k depending on the condition .

I'm just looking for a realiabe car once again but need to fit 4 with ease so weather it be the gs or the es it doesn't matter...I have a friend with a gs and he would have a lot of dash creaking noise but other the that he loves it...I like the styling on both them even the IS but that car would be too small plus there's too much aftermarket parts to mod them and I don't want to mod my daily driver.

most any late model car with the plasticy dashes (es/gs/maxima/TL) will have those creaks. Hell, even my 06 E500 had it. Again, if it's the same money, I personally would get the GS, but I do love my ES. For reference, mine's an 07, had 64k on it when I bought it, and I paid 16,500 retail at a dealer.

True, they don't make cars like they used to...when did you buy yours? That's a pretty sweet deal. I've seen some sell for 22 for a 07 with 40k- 70k in miles but I'm not in a rush and with the new model that just came out I'm sure it'll drop some more by the end of this year.

your numbers are skewed.

You went almost 2k miles above the last month's average on the 07, but went 3500 miles less than last month's average on the 08. That's a 5500 mile swing, more than 10%. 10% of your 18,000 dollar 08 is 1800, add that to the 15500 dollar 07 you listed and you're at 17300. Subtract it from your 18000 dollar 08, and you're at 16200.

you're also assuming that someone is driving 30k more miles across 5 years. Assuming 12.5k mi per year on the 08 and 20k mi per year on the 07 is not apples to apples.

You should put the 08 at 50 and the 07 at 60 or the 07 at 80 and the 08 at 64k to ensure a correct comparison. A 30k mileage difference is enough to swing the price a couple grand.

ok.. my bad.. just typically rounded it off to the nearest # and it did swing it. 10%..

and by the way... these prices which i posted.. dont include a lot of fees. even at the . auction site, etc.. so dont expect these prices . add 2-3K minimum. in my past experience... some retail dealers will add 5K..

there's always a markup at a dealer. But, if you know how to negotiate, you can erase most of that. Dealers do have to make a profit, so don't let anyone tell you they've bought a car at a dealer for 500 over cost, because it's a lie. But, you can typically expect to be paying at minimum 1500-2k above what the car actually owes them.
