I set my destination to GO HOME today and when my car came to a light where I was supposed to make a left the NAV indicated that I should continue straight...long story short the NAV showed an address for a residence about a half a mile from my preset home address.
Anyone ever had this weird quirk with their NAV system??

This is a documented problem on 07's that had a TSIB put out to fix it. I have had this happen a couple times over the years but my problem is that mine says "turn right" when my nav shows a left turn. A navigation update will fix this problem but mine doesnt bug me enough to do it since the nav actually shows the correct direction to turn.

My 2011 did this on a trip from Bethlehem, PA to Wilkes Barre, PA recently. Insisted that I go way due east while I was on the PA Turnpike 476 North bound. Indicated a turn onto Interstate 80 East towards NYC. Finally, after exiting off the turnpike for my exit, it adjusted to the correct way home. Satellite clitch??

The NAV in our '08 consistently takes us to a house that's several hundred yards from our actual house when we enter "go home".

Close, but no cigar.

I've haven't had this happen, but I wonder if it would do any good to delete the current "Home" destination and then re-enter it? Maybe work like a reset?
