If it were me and there is no difference in buying the warranty now as opposed to later, I would wait till your factory warranty is near expiration and decide then. You may want to upgrade by then, and although the balance on the extended warranty is refundable, I'd rather have my money in the bank until then. You have plenty of time making that decision.

Does this sound like a fair deal

It's a great car. I've 132,000 miles on my 2007. I'd wait on the warranty as well.

Fully loaded camrera, sensors etc just skeptical as to low mileage enen though it is from a
major Lexus dealer.
$3000 less than KBB not sure why I keep doubting carfax etc

I assume it will be around $30k with warranty, if not more.
2012 model with navigation, HID headlamp, camera and parking sensors were selling for $36K in June. With 2013 model out, I would expect the 2012 models are even cheaper now. For $4-5K more, I'd buy a new one, but it's your decision.
Used cars are not as cheap as they used to be.

I would look at a Certified Pre Owned. I picked up a 2010 for my wife. Car was loaded without nav. 13k miles, warranty to 100K for 25K.
Certified warranty covers bumper to bumper, no deductible, just like a new car. Wife doesn't drive much, will easily keep within miles until warranty expires.
Wife loves car, very comfortable and the seat coolers will freeze your hind end.
Good luck and happy shopping.

i think not take the cost of the warranty and put it in the bank instead nothing fun ( expensive happens until 150k anyway) and the extended unless it covers changing the timing belt i consider to be not as efficient a use if yiur money as there is
