Default 2009 with 43k miles

Hi, looking for some feedback from Lexus folks -
I'm considering a 2009 ES350 with 43,000 miles. Base unit with nav. I'm a little concerned about buying a car with that many miles - should I be?
Thanks

If the price is right I wouldn't be concerned with 43K miles on a 2009 ES. They are pretty good cars and this one should still be under warranty.

The mileage is not bad at all, the average per year is 15K, so you're still below the average, which would be around 48K or a little less, assuming the car was purchased in 2008. The ES has been rated at the top in comsumer reports reliability for years. In fact, a Lexus is one of very few cars that I would buy without worry with high miles, but don't worry 43K miles is nothing.

We bought our '08 ES last December with 41K miles on it. I was also a bit concerned, but not any more. This car has been 100% reliable and we truly enjoy it. Not a squeak, rattle or problem since we bought it. We're planning a long road trip next week and are actually looking forward to it.

That's almost new! Lexus run forever if maintained.

A friend had a 1990 LS400 with 200,000+ miles on it last year, sold it for $2,500, no issues and interior was in good condition.

Are you kidding me? 43k is just about broken in for a Lexus. I have over 121,000 on my '07 and have changed out the fluids (except tranny), the brake pads and rotors, the spark plugs, and the filters. Oh, and the tires and wiper blades. Other than that it's all original.

Mileage means next to nothing on these cars. What is important is maintenance.

ES350 is a very reliable car for older people After going from 2 door Acura Type S, I feel I got much older, but with the class. My next car will be some sports car though, I miss fast acceleration and conering

Yes, the average age of new ES350 buyers is up there. Lower for the pre-owned buyers.
