yeah, i'm enjoying my GS F-Sport. OK.... I'm over it. went to the NYAS and laid down on the floor in the back of the new 2013 ES350. the roominess is sic.

What was your overall impression of the new ES? I'm still on the fence about the looks, especially the frnt end, and need to see one in person.......

my overall impression..... the car is elegant. that's the only word to describe it. the front end threw me at first but when i went to the auto show and stood in front of it.... all i could say was ...WHOA!!!! everything blends just right. and then when you get inside,,,, forget about it. you'll probably buy it. Lexus Elegance with some ooommmmppphh thrown in. if you like the ES,,,,, you'll love this 2013.

I can't stand the new design of the 2013 ES. That's why I bought a 2012. Somebody lied to someone when they went with the zigzag grill on the 2013 Lexus'es. It looks tacky and unrefined. It reminds me of a Lancer, or some car made by Hyundai. The inside has no cockpit feel. They also went to a joystick for the navigation system. I feel like the 2012's will go down as the last decent-looking ES.

Saw and sat in one at the NY car show.I somewhat agree with your view on the '13 ES.I find the front design to be too overwhelming and aggressive for a luxury car.Maybe it will grow on me but hasn't so far.
Not a fan of the interior design either.Hate the cheap looking steering wheel too.
However,the joystick for the NAV is a great improvement over touch screen.The NAV size and look is so much nicer too.Also lane departure warning and auto high beams are great features.
