Lexus ES 350 Wiring Diagrams
Hello forum members, as you know there is not a lot of information available on our cars to do certain mods etc. In my efforts of installing a sub/amp in my 2011 ES 350 the best resources I found where lexus forums especially CL. I talked to several auto stereo installers, many of who refrain from touching Lexus with ML audio. Even my local Lexus dealer was not willing to provide much info. I did however did find a pay site to get wiring diagrams and paid for the attached wiring diagram that I would like to share with this community. It covers both versions with nav. and without nav. I hope this can help many of you looking for this info.

Thanks for the post, I'm thinking about installing a sub/amp so hopefully this will prove helpful. Was it a difficult install? I've read through some of the posts here on CL but still aren't really sure of how to go about it. Thanks again.

I for one, don't touch the ML amplifier. I have the UL option. I changed what i can :
1. disconnect the oem sub and use an aftermarket sub with an amplifier to power it. The only link to the ML amplifier is i used a LOC to tap into the oem sub signal to power the aftermarket sub.
2. changed the door front 6x9 for an aftermaket 5.25 woofers powerred by the ML amplifier.
I feel that sound quality has increased by 50%. I still have a set of xovers and tweeters that i can incorporate for the dash, but i need to know more about the wiring on the dash oem speakers.

I agree with you Blueshark, I wouldn't modify the amp or other electronics as well. The wiring diagrams are just to help understand the inputs and outputs of the stereo system, wire color coding (many are the same) and which wires to tap into. With our cars even tapping into existing wires makes me a bit nervous...

thank you RTSM for the wiring diagram, very difficult to find that kind of information. I just changed last week the oem 6x9 front door speaker for some 5.25 woofer (infinity perfect kappa) and the doors pounded so much vs the oem with the same wattage.
Updating the ML audio is a must IMO and the wiring diagram help a LOT.

I upgraded my stereo a few years ago. So glad I did as I had the most basic sound package ever. My 1980 boom box sounded better. Remember those?
I highly recommend JL C2 speakers for the doors. They sound awesome. I also added a 10" subwoofer and amp in the trunk. I love my stereo. I'd like to add another amp and run a line to the oem 8" sub in the rear deck to fill in the holes between the door speakers and the JL 10".
