RTSM

Hello forum members I wanted to see if any of you that have installed subs/amps could help me with a problem on my new install. I am running high level output from the ML sub to a audio control LC2i then low level out to a Rockford Fosgate PBR500x1 then out to a JL HO110 ported enclosure. It seems that the LC2i and amp are cutting in and out and I have to have the volume near 40 with max bass to get this to work. I'm thinking that the ML sub does not put out enough signal power to activate the LC2i or amp. I tried running the high out from the ML sub directly to the amp and switched to high level input without success. Has anyone experienced this? Would running this through the front woofers be better? Maybe a different LOC? Thank you in advance for any info.
