This morning my vehicle doors were locked. They were not locked when I parked it yesterday. Neither remote would allow doors to open via touching the door handles or using the remote. The trunk lid however would open by touching the entry pad on lid. After repeatedly pressing lock and unlock the door finally opened. When I attempted to start the car the panel indicated "key not detected". I repeated the process several times and it did start. Upon returning home I attempted to lock door by touching button on door handle and it would not lock. I locked it using the remote and opened it with the remote several times without issue. I then was able to lock door by touching the door handle button and unlock it by touching the door handle. It did this several times w/o a problem. One remote is new and has a new battery- the other I am not sure of. The small led on the remotes both flash.
Has anyone had any problem like this?

I had an issue similar to this when I was parked at a client site near a cell phone tower. Even went to a local auto zone about 200 feet from where I was having issues. Got a new battery, still no luck, had to hold key against start ring to start and use the physical key to get in. Personnel inside stated that most people near that area cannot get their cars to lock and unlock remotely due to the nearby tower.

Haven't been back to that client since, however it is kind of a pain when the remotes don't work in all scenarios.
