New to forum- tires, sway bars, suspension
Pardon any repeat questions, themes, or discussions:
I bought a 2010 ES 350, w 10k miles. I want to upgrade ride. I made similar changes to my 99 Solara, which still runs great, and got significant improvments. Any suggestions or advice appreciated.
Goals - decrease sway into corners. Tighten handling, responsiveness, and steering. Avoid over tightening suspension(dont want to feel every bump like hondas/acuras do).
- Rear sway bar. I understand that the ES has existing front and rear sway bars, but they are "modestly tuned". Get better aftermarket product.
- Tires. I have Michelin Energy mxv4 s8. I think they are average at best, and assume the sidewalls are soft. I like Cooper CS4 Touring, which improved my other cars significantly.
- Shocks - If needed, upgrade out of OEMs.
Thanks in advance for any help. Looking forward to owning another Toyota/Lexus for 10+ years. Any other easy upgrades that I should consider? What about storage space up front. its pretty tight considering the size of the car. Any good after market products?

Hey, robcar
I thought your question was excellent and looked forward to responses. I think my 2007 suspension is a bit sloppy and looked forward to possible fixes. My car feels constantly like the weight ratio is 70/30 front/rear...........which I believe it is. A recent loaner [2011] handled much better. Even the steering seemed more sporty and less vague. Others on forum have said the replacement parts are exactly the same for 2007 or 2012 but I swear the suspension and steering response have definitely been tweaked for the better. And, I would like to know what, if anything could be done to improve my 2007 in the afore mentioned areas.
Anybody ??
