Default Warning ligth for TPS on because if winter tires

I know that every year, the same problem occur if changing for winter tires and the warning light is on. If i remember correctly, the TPS module is located on the headliner above the the rear seats and it is easily access by pulling the headliner down,

My question is if i remove the plug that connect the tps module, should i get rid of the annoying warning light ?

Any ideas ? thank you.

I don't believe that disconnecting the TPS module harness will work........the system will detect that as a fault and turn on the warning light.

Do you have a complete set of rims and tires for the winter? If you do. You can buy 4 sensors and have them installed.

If you just changed the tires. The sensors on the rims should just need to be reset to work.

People use to use black electricians tape to get rid of the warning light back in the 80's.

It is not a major issue, i'm quite ok with having that warning light in front of my face all the time, but just wondering if there is an easy fix, economically speaking. Yes, i have a different set of rims and tires for winter.

If you have 2 different sets of tires and rims. You just need to purchase 4 of the sensors of sensors. And have the them registered with the car as a second set.

Or if you dont care if the TPMS light system works. And just want the light gone. You can make an air tight metal pipe. And have the sensors mounted to it. Then service the pipe with 30 PSI. Reset the system. and throw the pipe in the trunk.
