Default Cannot get XM stocks to work

My friend just got a 2012 ES350 with Nav and I was trying to help him today with XM stocks. I cannot get it to work. I input a valid stock, such as IBM. The system takes the symbol. I go back to the stock listing screen and highlight IBM. I click on it and the system just says "Current data is not available. Please try again later". I try another symbol and it keeps saying the same thing. All the other XM features are working fine. This is being done while the market is open and trading.

What is the deal with this?

Also, is it true that XM Sport and XM Stocks are included with the basic XM radio subscription (no extra fees)? XM is not super clear on this.

I have a list of stocks set up on our system and they all work OK. Occasionally there is a delay in getting updates and the message you described appears. I'd recommend tying them again later to see if that works.

Yes, XM Sports and Stocks are included with the XM subscription even if you don't subscribe to XM Weather and Traffic.

When you do get them to work, where do the stock prices display? Do you have to go into the menu every time to see the prices? or do they scroll under the map?

After you press the Stocks icon on the menu, the list of the stocks you set up are shown on a screen of their own, listed alphabetically (I think), You can also select to have the current perfomance read back so you don't have you take your eyes off of the road.
