Default Best value iPod to use in the car

Hello Folks, I tried to use my Sansa mp3 player in my 2011 ES 350 but it would not work right. I tried the USB and aux inputs with out success so it looks like I'll need to buy a ipod. What would be a good value ipod that you suggest, something I can leave plugged into the car without spending a fortune?
Thanks.

I have a 30 gig Classic IPod that works perfectly while plugged into the USB port in the glove compartment. Rumor has it that the Classic IPod is about to go away in favor of a revised IPod touch. I intend to pick up one of the Classic Ipods that are still for sale. You can get a 160 gig for about $230 on Amazon.

Default Miy Ipods

I am using a classic Ipod 32 in one of my cars and am using an Ipod Nano in the other. Both work well.
