Should I extend the CPO warranty?
I just purchased a 2009 ES 350 with 15K miles. The CPO warranty is good for 3 years/100k miles. The dealer is offering to extend the warranty as follows:
I'm being told that I have to make this decision to purchase the extension at the time of purchase. Would you recommend the purchase.
Thanks,
Brad
- 5 years/100k for 1,650
- 6 years/100k for 2,100
- 7 years/125k for 2,700

That's really a low mileage car - congratulations. You don't have to buy the warranty at time of purchase and should shop around for better pricing. You can get some good info here on the forum. You have all the time you want for this. Dealer shouldn't be telling you things like that.
