You mean stopped locking the car right? When you open the door you should see some rubber bellows tube between the door and the car, if this is no longer attached I'd inspect the connection between the car body and the door otherwise it sounds like a trip to the dealer...

I have this peice missing for LS 460 but the door lock/unlock function properly. I contact the dealer for replacement and they said I have to replace the entire door handle because there is no replacement for this little black rubber! the cost for replacement 259 + tax + labor so we are talking $$$$.
I try to find out whether this small rubber piece can be open and replaced by used part because I saw in ebay door handle for 150 or less but for other doors. I think this piece should be the same for all doors. it wish someone already replace or know whether this small peice can be open.

Same question here. Just got a 11 ES 350, the black rubber is missing. On ebay, the entire handle assemble is $69. Any better idea?

I went super ultra cheap route: put a piece of plastic in the hole and sealed it with black roofing caulking

Update: I fiinnaly did it. I bought a used door handle from ebay for $22, took the black rubber button out and inserted it to my front driver side door handle. The used door handle did not have to be the exact location, it can be any one, such as rear or passenger side, since the black buttons are identical in four door handles.
