Key fob programming issue
I hjave a 2010 ES350 (without Nav). The manual specifies that I can program certain lock functions, and tie the two key fobs to memory positions 1 and 2. I have tried repeatedly, following the instructions precisely (I think), but the changes won't "take." Any sugestion?

..I think you just have to keep the second key fob away while you are program the 1st one. Try to do it with the engine running, start position (hold the start button without key foot on brake), and acc position (press start button once). I don't remember if the car was running or not but it took several tries and I kept pressing L1 while hitting the key fob. Once you get it to work its awesome, my wife would never put the seat back in my old GS so this is one less thing I can nag about.

Fob/Seat Link Successful ! - Finally (For me, anyway)
I've been plagued by failure for some time trying to link my seat adjustments to the key fob.
I finally was successful, and believe I know why i've been failing, but here's what I did:
1. Turn OFF ignition & make sure door is closed.
2. Press & Hold seat # (1 or 2) on door.
3. While still holding that button in, press and Hold fob Unlock button until 2nd "beep" is heard.
4. Release buttons and Open Door within 60 seconds.
This is for 2011 (other years may be different).
(On my previous attempts, I never opened the door within 60 seconds.) Also, just to make sure there was no 2nd fob interference, I put the fob not being programmed in a safe each time.
