Default Just joined the club

Hello all I just joined the Lexus club this weekend as I found a optioned car that I was waiting for. It is a Tungsten Pearl ES 350 with the black semi-analine leather with the red double stiching, ultra luxury package and Mark Levinson audio. It is tough finding this level of optioned car right now, I found only a few accross the country but finally found one close to my area. I called every Lexus dealer within the S.F. bay area and found this car which was a dealer demo, it has been upgraded with the Sport alloy wheels, protective film, and side body molding and Turanza tires. The black panorama roof contrasts nicely with the silver color of the car and the sport wheels match nicely. I will be adding the spoiler soon however I heard it is difficult installing the spoilers to the 2011 model cars because of the additional nav puck that they put on the trunk lid. Once the tires are a bit worn I am going to put on the 225's as discussed in these forums. My wife bought a stripped down version of the 2007 ES 350 and I am quite amazed at how much a differnce the car is with the ultra luxury and the Mark Levinson is excellent, the ES ML sounds better then the GS ML that I tested. At first I was a bit concerned about the power but when I put the car in manual mode this car seems much quicker then the 7sec. 0-60 that Lexus posts, it feels much more like 6 sec. to 60. Btw, this is great forum, I learned a lot reading the posts, thanks to all and I hope to return the favor with some good input in the future.

Welcome to Club Lexus

Sounds like you have found yourself a nicely optioned ride The black interior with red double stitching sounds fantastic.

I heard from the dealer that to add the spoiler they have to trim some of the middle of the top side of the spolier due to the secondary puck they are putting on the trunk lid. The black with red stitching provides a sporty look to the interior. It is raining again here in Nor-Cal so I'll have to wait to take some pics.

Thanks all for the welcome, glad to be part of this forum. Finally some decent weather in Nor-Cal so attached are some pics. I'll be waxing and doing a interior detail in July if I can get some time off of work

Any ES with the "Ultra Luxury" package has it!

To the OP - Beautiful ES you got there!
