I'm wondering if this TSIB adds any more information to the engine knocking issue upon startup. Somebody on the RX350 discussion board posted a similar question but nobody answered the direct question about what this TSIB says. I could not locate anything more than the cryptic description on the National Transportation Safety website.

I saw the second one as well and that is why I was wondering if someone had Toyota's full text, as I have seen people post in the sticky on TSIB's. I have not tried the dealer yet. Was hoping somebody new more about this. I found the TSB under the ES350, but I understand the RX and the ES have the same engine.

Let me know where you make out. I started another thread on the engine ticking noise, but haven't gotten anywhere. Dealer said it was "normal" and it was the "fuel injectors". After tons of research, I am not sure I agree.

I am calling back to "re-open" the issue and see where I can get. I am going to mention the LSB-0028-09 to see if I can bring it in to have it looked at for this service bulletin.

My guess is I am going to get nowhere with the dealer until next winter, when the sound is much more prevalent. When it is in th 30s or below, it is embarassing.
