A quick look at the local dealer's website shows 2008 ES350s with Nav going for $27-29k... BUT it should be noted they have much higher miles. The one for $26,995 had over 50k and obviously a CPO.
All prices are negotiable - I can't imagine you couldn't get at least $1-1.5k off that price.

When checking the website for used car values, also notate the "trade in" price and try to negotiate from there.
www.kbb.com = Kelly Blue Book
The local used car auctions really dictate the value of the used cars. Our local is Manheim Auto Auctions.

I just picked up CPO 2007 with 15,000 milles NAV, premium package for $25,600. They were asking $26800. I saw an CPO 2008 NAV with 30k for 28,500 on the lot.
Good luck!
Btw, I LOVE my "new" car so far :-)

If you pay $30k for the car you will get up to 100k miles of coverage. or 83,200 miles. Lets say this car is worth 12k with 100k miles on it.
($30,000-$12,000)/83,200= 21.6 cents per mile.
If you get a car with miles closer to 50k you can save money.
So because I do my own work on the car and keep them to over 200k my cost would look like this
($23,600-$6,000+cost of parts for repairs)/ 200,000miles= ???
I am shooting for 10 cents per mile.
I ignored insurance, fuel, maintenance, repairs, and the time value of money in the above example. (I use excel to track most of those)
