Default ES350 Parking assist

Just bought a used 2007 ES350 and it appears that the parking assist is not working properly. The rear center sensors seems to work but no signals from rear or front corner sensors (display only shows rear center). Any ideas as to whether this might be a software or hardware issue? If I bring to Lexus dealer they'll charge me arm an leg for a simple diagnosis, am hoping someone has encountered this issue.

Have not encountered on mine. Does go off sometimes when turning left in a turn left lane but maybe the proximity to something sets it off. Happens maybe once per quarter year.
Maybe something's not connected up front to the sensor. Was the front end replaced in a collision?

At first I had the same symptoms and thought mine was broken, but try getting uncomfortably close to the object or have somebody stand near the corner sensors to test them. Yours is probably working fine, you just have to get used to thinking in terms of inches rather than feet. Also, the setup on the nav screen (at least mine) only gives you a way to adjust the distance of the rear-center, so you only get the yellow bars on the rear of the car graphic which gave me some initial confusion.

Yes, having someone stand in front of the sensors showed that they are all working. Thanks for the help!!!

In case you didn't figure it out already, the side sensors don't kick in till 18" and the rear center sensor starts to beep at 3'.

Default 2007 ES350 Parking Assist

Hello all. I have a 2007 ES350, and I've got 2 issues with the Parking Assist function. First is that the light for the parking assist indicator (lower left side) does not light up - it does make a beep sound when enabled but does not light up. Second issue is that the right front sensor goes off all of the time when I roll to a stop. All other sensors work fine. Any idea if the 2 issues are related, and how to resolve each/both? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
