Default how to remove trim under the glove compartment ?

I notice that the bottom trim under the glove compartment has a little of play. I tried to pull the trim but before going with brute force, it is better to ask first.

One other reason that i need that piece remove so can remove the heater motor off since i dropped a little piece of plastic while changing the cabin filter in the duct and i want to retrieve it.

thank you in advance for your help.

Anybody, It seems that it has 4 clips for the bottom trim under the glove compartment according to the IS forum, but we have to yank hard the trim off, something i want to make sure before doing anything with brute force.

Default Hold up....

Just stumbled on this thread from a web search...

I'm sure you've fixed this by now , but for others looking to replace blower motor:
10 min job.

- Reach under glovebox area. Grab kick panel under dash. Pull hard down.

- unclip footwell light

- unclip blower motor wire

- remove (3) blower motor screws. Blower falls out

Drink a beer and done. I could do it in 90 seconds next time.

Post that as it's own thread with a DIY tag, maybe add some photos, so it's quickly found by people searching for it in the future.
