Phone number display ("caller ID")
It's annoying so far. All of sudden, when I have an incoming call, the phone number is not displayed properly; I do know, as a manual mentioned, if a phone number is registered in phone book, (incoming) the number and the name are displayed, but NOT to my ES350 (2007). Do I miss something? It wasn't in the past- displayed a caller id as registered in the phone book.
BTW, the phone book is not transferred from my cell directly-just can't transfer from my cell to the ES350; it was just taking forever to have data from phone and never succeed. I didn't have enough explanation from manual. Anyone can help with those issues?

If the vehicle is moving, no phone number will be displayed on the screen for "safety reasons". However, if the caller is registered in your car's phonebook, their name will appear on the screen.
If the vehicle is stationary, then the phone number (and caller name if present in the phone book) will be displayed on the screen.

You seem to contradict yourself. First you say if moving no name will be displayed then you say if registered the name will appear. So if moving will it or will it not appear?

Thanks reply. Let me explain what I've done:
Previously, I saw the incoming phone numbers regardless of moving or stopping if phone numbers are registered in ES350 phone book. I know other functions are not displayed while driving for safety reason-radio station info, destination setup, Map POI etc. But I was used to see the incoming phone number at any time (either moving or stopping).
The other day, as mentioned above, all incoming phone numbers are NOT shown regardless of moving or stopping. I parked mine and tested with other phones - Number that registered in ES350 phone book was not displayed, just simply showed ' Not Supported'. That's why I'm so confused.
A cell phone is the same as I used before.
