see my quote above...nobody thinks $12 for each little bulb is a bit crazy? Can anyone check for a bulb type or aftermarket option?

Its 12 bucks a pop because each order comes in an assembly (plastic part around the light), not just the light bulb.

meh, still seems kinda steep.

Don't get me wrong, I'm more than likely going to do it as well haha. I just wonder if you could find a way to disassemble the assembly and replace just the bulb.

The assembly doesn't look like it comes apart.. Price was steep, but WELL worth it IMO.

eh, I don't necessarily mind the amber footwell lighting. My E500 had it so maybe I'm just accustomed to it. A little softer on the eyes when you get into the car in the pitch black. I also dim my instruments a bit at night so that my primary focus is the road in front of me, not the dials screaming at me

Default footwell

Did it today, looks much nicer, cleaner than the stock yellow. I recommend changing them, as well as the door lights.

Yes,the white light looks better and now matches all interior LEDs including the door panel lights.
A nice easy and inexpensive mod..

Did mine this weekend and it looks much better! I did not have too much of an issue with the amber since I did have a BMW in the past. But I like the look of the white much better. A cleaner look. Thanks so much for this post and EVERYONE's input. It is invaluable!
