Hey i have a question. i had my car fixed (my driver side door was replaced) I got out of the car left the engine running and pushed the lock button from inside. It locked my car. I had my remote with me outside, but it would not work while the car is running. How do i open my car??? i was able to open my trunk by pushing the button on the trunk, but couldnt open the seat.. Any suggestions how to open the car using remote??

I think I did this in 2006 - from my recollection, I had to use the other (wife's) remote to unlock.

Yes, I think if you lock the car other than by pushing the lock button on the door handle you have to unlock it with the unlock button on the remote. Whenever I want to lock the car with my wife's key inside I have to use the remote to lock it and when I do so I then have to use the remote to unlock it when I return. Good luck.

This is the goofiest thing I've ever heard of!!

If all else fails, use the manual key. Otherwise open the trunk and send a small child or pet through the access door and see if they can unlock it for you from the inside.

or take a long broom and try to point it to the engine push button thru the trunk or if it works, hold on the unlock button for more than 5 seconds in case all the windows open.
