Question howling noise at 40-55mph

I just purchase a 1997 ES350 CPO and now notice a howling type rotating noise when I go between 40 and 55mph. Less or more and it seems to disappear. It is in the front end and believe it might be from the wheels. It does not change in neutral so i dont believe its the tranny. They put new michelin's on as part of the CPO. Could it be that or wheel bearings?

I am pretty sure its the wheel bearing, try to lift up your front end and see if there is any free play on the wheel by holding the wheel and shake slighly side ways.
If its still under warrantee you should take it to the dealer.

Default thanks, I will bring it in

I just bought it last week as a CPO but didnt notice it in my test drive. If it is the bearing it should be covered.
