Not an issue to me, mine get hot enough to turn dial to cool (1) after 5 min at heat (2).

Get another car if you're not happy

After few minutes at max (3) position I have to turn it down to 2, because my behind gets too toasty. I have heated/vented/perforated seats.

My 2007 ES350 gets and stays hot fast, even after 36,000 miles on the car. My Impala SS heated seats get so hot that when I bring home a pizza, I sit the box on the passenger seat to keep it hot!

I have an 10 ES350 UL too, and the seats get warm very quickly before the car even warms up in the morning and I can't keep it on 3 setting very long.

I'm satisfied with the performance of my seat heaters. As others have said, I start off on #3 for a quick warm up and then dial back as needed for comfort.

This is one of those subjective areas as to how well they work.

The seats in my 2010 ES350 work better than any other vehicle I have ever had. My 06 Avalon's worked pretty good but not as fast nor as hot as the ES350. The ones in my F150 pickup are pretty useless. By the time they heat up I'm usually wherever I was going.

suraja12, Like everyone else here, I start with 3 and have to turn it down to 2. Please let us know what you find out from the other dealer. BTW, mine is 2008 ES350.

took the car to another dealer to check the heated seats - they say it is working fine - they measured the temp of the seats and say it goes up to 80 for the bottom and mid 60's for the back rest
i dont think it goes upto 80 - as that would be nice and toasty

i am going to get a laser thermometer and check temp on my lexus and also on my merecedes

beyond that i dont know what to do -
complained to lexus - however they had suggested to take to another dealer for checking up

In my 2009 ES the driver's seat heats up but the passenger seat does not. This is its first winter and it hasn't been in the shop since the weather in St. Louis turned cold. I will have the dealer fix it (hopefully) at the next servicing--or when my wife gets perturbed enough with me.

Default 85-Degree Fanny

I had my car serviced this past weekend and after telling them the seats weren't getting very warm, they said my seats were functioning perfectlly. Apparently they only go to 85 degrees and then a thermostat kicks in. There is no way to adjust this temp. I'm guessing the cooling feature is equally wimpy. I don't know about you guys, but I think i can be the judge of how hot my butt is.

Any suggestions on getting hotter seats......
